DESCRIPTION:Some of the most exciting artists in South Florida take center stage for Rhythm by the River 2026\, A Celebration of Local Voices at Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale presented by Baptist Health and JM Family Enterprises\, Inc.\, with additional support from Funding Arts Broward and TD Charitable Foundation.\n\nThis free outdoor event will feature a variety of artists on the mainstage including the soulful sounds of Nina Simone tribute sensation The Ladies of Simone\, the Rock n' Roll and Motown vibes of The Swayzees\, the jazz\, Latin\, funk and contemporary sounds of the Luigi Arredondo Sextet\, and the Bad Boys of Reggae\, Inner Circle.\n\nAdditional festivities include free arts and crafts and interactive games in the Baptist Health Activity Zone as well as food trucks and a variety of free community workshops in the Broward Center's Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom.\n\nThis event is part of AMPLIFY ARTS\, a new Broward Center initiative which aims to support and elevate local artists and emerging arts organizations with the goal of helping them reach a wider audience and develop their skills as professional presenters. There will be opportunities for South Florida artists in a wide variety of performing arts genres to bring their talents to Broward Center venues throughout the year. In the 2025/2026 season\, the Broward Center's AMPLIFY ARTS initiative is made possible by Wayne and Lucretia Weiner\, Baptist Health and TD Charitable Foundation.
