Recognizing Excellence

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Healthcare Awards honor individuals, programs, and organizations that demonstrate excellence in healthcare through exceptional care, outstanding service, and innovative initiatives. Nominees represent the best and brightest in our healthcare community and exemplify a commitment to improving the health and well-being of those they serve.

Awards will be presented on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Excellence in Healthcare Awards program. Award recipients will be notified by Chamber staff or a member of the Healthcare Council.

The deadline for submitting your nominee is Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Individual Award

Outstanding Healthcare Executive - A healthcare executive who demonstrates superior leadership skills and improves the organization’s overall performance and its ability to serve its patients.
Outstanding Healthcare Practitioner - A healthcare provider who goes above and beyond best practices to deliver extraordinary care.
Guts and Grit - A certified first responder, individual or services (Fire, Medical, Police or Military), who has made a significant impact in South Florida.

Achievement in Innovation - Technology, devices, software, systems, initiatives, or other programs that push the envelope of healthcare delivery in Broward County or South Florida.
